Great value for the money! Convenient location, just a short walk from public transportation. the room was clean and had all the basic amenities I needed. the staff were helpful and friendly, providing useful information about the area.
The steep stairs in the house could be a challenge for those with mobility issues or joint pain. It would be helpful if there were handrails or alternatives for easier access.

Our stay at Guest House Costa Del Sol was delightful. The hotel is conveniently located in a traditional street in the heart of Kyoto, close to attractions like Gion and Nishiki street. We found the rooms to be clean, comfortable, and perfect for our needs. The owners were kind and friendly, often leaving snacks and treats for our teenage children. The location was convenient, with easy access to public transportation and plenty of eating places nearby. I highly recommend this hotel for a cozy and enjoyable stay in Kyoto.

I loved the free bike rentals, although I almost crashed into a wall. The bus stop nearby took me on a wild ride to Kiyomizu-dera Temple. Free luggage storage was great, because who needs to carry their bags around while sightseeing?
Oh, and the smoke-free guesthouse was absolutely delightful. The only downside was the complementary smell of someone's dirty socks lingering in the hallway.

We had a wonderful stay at a guest house in Kyoto. the location was very convenient, just a 10-minute walk from Kyoto station. the traditional tatami-style room was clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Cons: No issues to mention.
